another apology, another explanation of why i've been away.
i know my absence hasn't made a significant impact on other's art lives but i'll continue with what i have to say. i've mainly been busy with my job. other than that i've taken quite an obsession to youtube and myspace. when i'm not at work, i'm either at church, at home watching whatever on youtube and our filipino TV via satellite, or listening to band music on myspace, and out and about with friends i rarely have time to see.

some updates.
since my last journal entry i have been able to:
- transfer to a closer store location at the nearest mall because it used to take me an hour to get to work but now the longest time travel is 10 minutes on the bus
- teach a close girl friend how to go shopping
- learn how to play video games (i still suck but at least i can play)
- meet up with two of my good highschool friends for a dinner
- teach another girl friend how to be a more out-going shopper
- read the Furuba (Fruits Basket) shojo manga series up to volume 12
- learn how to navigate myself to and around downtown toronto
- get over a really hard crush
- buy new flats because it hurts working in retail wearing heals
- find a pair of new jeans and a few tops
- meet up with a good highschool friend
- give a guy friend's wardrobe a makeover
- make new friends at the new job location
- become obsessed with pacman
- get a haircut
- buy a hand-held, rechargeable, wet/dry hoover vacuum
- buy a new ionic hair dryer
- get in touch with a childhood friend
- become an avid fan of a band that i was prejudiced towards
- be inspired to do some more experimental writing
- pick up a pen and doodle something in my mini-sketchbook
- experiment with eyeliner an eye makeup
- get a new 4-foot dresser (1st step to organization!)

it doesn't seem like so much but i'm trying not to just sit around at home and being useless.

future plans:
- update my deviant gallery
- pick up drawing and maybe painting again
- take more photos
- organize my room and closet
- learn how to play guitar
- do more experimental writing
- meet up and hang out with my old work crew
- save cash (for CDs, concerts, band merch., the Viktor and Rolf H&M collaboration collection, a new camera, and of course school)
